The aim of the PhD School is to enable the development of both hard and soft skills of doctoral students, but also to expand their practical laboratory skills. During their studies, they will attend workshops and lectures that will help them strengthen their critical thinking and communicate more effectively, but also master advanced statistics and bioinformatics methods, for example. In addition, they have the opportunity to learn laboratory techniques beyond the expertise of the department in which they work. We launched the pilot year of the Doctoral School at the Biomedical Research Center of the Slovak Academy of Sciences in September 2025.
