A prestigious international scientific journal, npj Vaccines, published by Springer Nature, has released a publication by scientists from the Biomedical Research Center of the Slovak Academy of Sciences (BMC SAS) and the Science Park of the Comenius University, entitled “Systematic analysis of COVID-19 mRNA vaccines using four orthogonal approaches demonstrates no excessive DNA impurities”.
By publishing in this renowned scientific journal, the scientists confirmed the scientific value of their results contained in the report on the quantitative analysis of residual DNA which was created on the basis of a resolution of the Slovak government.
The fact that the work also attracted the attention of experts is evidenced by the fact that as many as five peer reviews were prepared, all of which responded positively to the data presented.
“We believe that the acceptance and publication of the results in such a specialized and prestigious scientific journal are both a testament to the quality and meaningfulness of the work and will also help to deepen trust in scientists and their work,” says BMC SAS Director General and corresponding author of the publication, Professor Silvia Pastoreková.
