The aim of the research activities of BMC SAS is to contribute to the explanation of the causes, mechanisms and consequences of metabolic, neurobiological, neuroendocrine, autoimmune, cardiovascular, oncological and infectious diseases and to develop new strategies for combating these diseases, that represent a great health, social and economic burden on our society.
Research teams at BMC SAV work in the following areas: Oncology-Nanobiology, Endocrinology-Metabolism-Genetics-Physiology, Neurobiology, and Virology-Microbiology-Immunology.
