The Virology Institute Animal Facility is designed for breeding mice, rats, hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits. It meets the requirements for working with infectious material, including BSL III level. The animals are kept in open or individually ventilated cages. The facility has the necessary equipment for surgical procedures.
